Softball Coaches at Westcoast

Kim Wright

Kim founded Westcoast Softball Academy in 1996 and has been impressing athletes, coaches and parents ever since with her impressive knowledge and teaching skills. Kim played softball for 20 years as an all star pitcher. Besides her day job with Canada Post for the last 18 years, Kim also was the Head Coach of the Venezuela National Team for 5 years and a guest coach for Team Canada at the 1999 Pan Am Games. Kim is recognized world wide in the softball community for her instructing skills in all aspects of the game, with emphasis on pitching and batting.

Kim’s Softball Philosophy:

Shannon is another Surrey product who has progressed from local house teams to two years on Team Canada. A defensive ace, Shannon plays third base with determination and skill. She passes on these attributes to the young athletes she coaches.
